AJ Books Travel is a full service travel agency specializing in customized luxury vacations. Our goal is to create the perfect seamless vacation that will both impress and inspire you to continuously explore the world.

AJ’s passion for travel was awakened as a 16-year-old exchange student to Japan. Being curious about other people, cultures and food she realized travel was more than a hobby; it’s an extension of who we are!

We seek out pivotal travel experiences like a scavenger hunt through the Vatican, hiking up the side of a volcano, or floating past adorable villages in the south of France on an intimate barge! Our goal is to help you create lifelong memories with your loved ones through world travel.

How We Work

AJ Books Travel charges a Planning/Consultation Fee of $400 for their time researching the destination, securing reservations and monitoring while you are traveling. Your planning fee covers all the basics of booking your vacation. We also offer additional fee-based services, upon request.

AJ was an awesome "cruise director!" My sister and I had a wonderful get-away adventure on Virgin Voyages. AJ was knowledgable about the cruise line and made excellent suggestions that made booking, travel to the terminal, embarkation, dining, sea day and excursions affordable and easy. She even went the extra step and gave us "floaties" for the beach day - we were the envy of all our fellow passengers. AJ has planned many amazing trips for us as always this one was over the top. We had a fantastic 27 day trip in China and Japan. All the hotels were first class and so seamless when checking in. We had no worries about who was picking us up as our driver and guide were a plus. we had tours every day and traveled extensively throughout both countries. We saw so much and did so much that we feel we got to experience these countries to the absolute fullest. We would have never had the chance to do this without AJ. She knows us and knows so many vendors and ins and outs we will never travel without her!

AJ is a comprehensive travel advisor. She facilitates all the activities to create memories for a lifetime. Her recommendations for activities and accommodations were outstanding, immersive, and age-appropriate. This was our first trip with AJ as our advisor and everything went exactly as planned. We look forward to future trips!
